Fashion and Textiles -Cristóbal Balenciaga
Cristóbal Balenciaga is a Spanish couturier who formed a different view on fashion and brought a new shape to it. He also introduced the "sack dress" which was very controversial in the 50s, however, it became mainstream after a while. The key point in his work was taking risks and putting out something which others wouldn't as it was not popular at the time.
The dresses that he designed during that period really changed the appearance of women's body in an abstract way, which is one of the ways he was unique in his field.

this led to another collaborative work by producing a textile pattern for the body on 2 sheets of paper.
These are the photographs of the structures that I used for sketching and finding new forms.
Today was more of textile rather than fashion; after talking about the 5 personal objects of our choice , we connected all of them together, and drew some sketches.
